Chief Marketing Officer for the Netherlands

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Marketing Officer to join our dynamic Marketing team at Travix. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention in the NL market.

Travix is one of the leading global online travel agencies, operating with five brands: CheapTickets, Vliegwinkel, BudgetAir, Flugladen, and Vayama. As a Senior Brand Manager NL, you will be the proud brand owner of Cheaptickets.nl, Vliegwinkel.nl, and Budgetair.nl. Your mission is to make these brands household names in the NL market and the talk of the town with our target groups.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, execute, and monitor the marketing calendar and campaigns to increase awareness, reach, and traffic.
  • Develop and manage media strategy and media agency to increase awareness, reach, and traffic.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns as flash sales, discount vouchers, and special offers to increase online sales.
  • Identify region-specific customer needs and friction points and take actions to address them effectively.
  • Guard consistent brand content across all NL touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain a strong social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve common goals.

Requirements include:

  • Masters in Marketing or related discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience in a similar role in (Trade) Brand/Campaign marketing in the Netherlands, preferably in travel/air industry, FMCG, or scale-up.
  • Solid digital marketing experience in Brand, Campaigns, social media management, and email.
  • Customer-centric mindset and creative conceptual thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and formulate actions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
