Job Title: Technical Department Manager X-Ray Detectors

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Department Manager to lead our X-Ray Detectors team. As a key member of our Imaging Chain Cluster, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of high-quality X-Ray Detectors.

Your Role:

  • Lead a team of approximately 15 engineers in the Netherlands and India, defining the group composition, required proficiencies, resources, and skills.
  • Ensure the successful introduction and sustaining of high-quality, serviceable, and reliable detectors in our systems.
  • Define and implement process improvement activities.
  • Handle relationships with external partners, such as suppliers and customers, and internal partners, including Innovation, Operations, Customer Services, Procurement, and Marketing.
  • Build relationships and create alignment with partners impacting X-ray detector technology.

Requirements:

  • MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of technical development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills, and a continuous improvement attitude.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare products and hardware development/maintenance.
  • Experience in X-ray detector technologies is considered a plus.
  • Proven ability in cross-functional alignment and stakeholder management (including customers and suppliers) to realize the optimal integral result.
