Operations Manager Job Description

At Univar Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse and production operations, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional operational results, focusing on warehousing, production, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement safety and quality standards, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost-effective operations and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Recommend new or improved policies, procedures, and safety standards to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • College degree in a chemical field or equivalent business experience.
  • 3-5+ years of operations/distribution experience, with a proven track record in leadership and safety management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach teams.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch languages, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages fluently.
  • Experience in a structured continuous improvement program, with a focus on digitalization and warehouse operations.
