About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Engineer to join our Data Management services team at Albert Heijn. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database infrastructure on the cloud. Your expertise in Oracle database administration, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps will be crucial in driving automation, security, and scalability of our data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Oracle database solutions on the cloud, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code scripts using Terraform and other tools.
  • Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of database services.
  • Implement security baselines and standards for resources, including network access and internet-facing resource provision.
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements, architecture, development, and deployment.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle database administration, including database migration, Exadata CS setup, and automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including Oracle Cloud, Oracle Cloud Guard, and Oracle Data Safe.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of database security, including data encryption, access control, and auditing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
