ASML is seeking a highly skilled System Performance Engineer to join our team. As a System Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography systems.
Key Responsibilities- Calibrate, qualify, and perform manual actions on our DUV systems according to established specifications, quality standards, and delivery times.
- Recognize and report (structural) problems and provide support in solving these problems when required.
- Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure the process runs smoothly.
- Be involved in working on improvements, identifying waste in our processes, and contributing to the initiation of improvement projects that lead to cycle time reduction.
- Middle-level vocational degree (MBO+) in mechatronics, electronics, mechanics, software, or VAPRO-C, with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, or computer science.
- Preferred: experience in a high-tech production environment, e.g., electronics, ICT hardware, aircraft construction, precision engineering, or maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Interest in other technical and business processes.
- Independent, enterprising, purposeful, and flexible.
- Service-oriented and team worker.
- Structured way of working.
- Able/willing to work mainly with computers in a remote testing environment.
The Engineer will work in a 5-shift schedule, including weekend days and night work, with a cycle of 10 days: 2 x morning shift, 2 x evening shift, 2 x night shift, followed by 4 days off. The Engineer will also work in a cleanroom environment, wearing a special suit and mouth cap.
