What will you be doing?
The primary responsibilities associated with this role include:
Gathering, examining, and interpreting source data from centralized data repositories related to front-office/data-input and external (market) data from the product offerings of NN Bank. Evaluating extensive datasets to ensure compliance with established standards, addressing any identified risks, and reporting data quality concerns to the appropriate stakeholders. Collaborating with data stewards to improve data governance practices. Understanding the compliance requirements that data management must adhere to. Providing guidance on appropriate data interpretation and actively contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality. Effectively communicating complex data analysis findings and technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Maintaining close relationships with various internal and external stakeholders within NN Bank, as well as with external parties. A key aspect of your role will be to persuade IT teams outside your department to address data issues affecting external stakeholders. Keeping abreast of the latest trends in data analytics, risk management, and regulatory requirements pertinent to the banking sector.What we offer you

Your first week
Your first week will include various onboarding activities, including meetings with your manager, team introductions, and training sessions on company values and IT systems.
What you bring
You possess strong analytical capabilities and can grasp the broader context. Your excellent communication skills enable you to engage with diverse stakeholders and simplify complex issues. Additionally, you meet the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a quantitative discipline. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, with a preference for expertise in data management, analysis, and data quality reporting. Demonstrated proficiency with Power BI, Azure Databricks, Python, SAS, SQL, and/or version control software (qualifications are preferred) or a willingness to learn. Basic understanding of regulatory and business requirements for Credit Risk (e.g., AIRB, IFRS9, Stress testing) and ALM Risk models or a willingness to learn. Professional communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and verbal), with the ability to engage with senior management. As a member of NN Bank's Data Management Office (DMO), you will operate within the Risk (CRO) domain, focusing on the collection and delivery of high-quality data for finance and risk modeling and reporting.
