Immersion Specialist for the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel Project

As an Immersion Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the team responsible for floating concrete tunnel elements, equipping them in the port, and transporting and installing them at sea. Your responsibilities will include developing operation manuals, drawings, test & inspection plans, and contingency procedures for the Transport & Immersion overall scope.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop operation manuals, drawings, test & inspection plans, and contingency procedures for the Transport & Immersion overall scope.
- Lead interface management with other departments within FLC regarding specific parts of the T&I scope.
- Develop the Immersion Pontoon Control Systems and Tunnel Control Systems.
- Develop work method statements, drawings, and operation manuals for the Immersion Pontoon specific operations related to the overall transport and immersion scope.
- Liaise with the Marine Warranty Surveyor and develop work procedures, Go/No Go procedures.
- Operationally manage the transport and installation of the elements during the execution phase.
- Qualified civil or industrial engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Prior experience with immersion of large structures or offshore lifting operations.
- Hands-on problem solver, not afraid of taking decisions.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
