Job Summary
Citadines Canal Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our breakfast service, honesty bar, and Grab&Go.
Key Responsibilities
- Breakfast Service Management: Oversee the preparation and presentation of breakfast dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient service.
- Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and team performance.
- Inventory and Ordering: Manage inventory levels and place orders for food and beverage supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, conducting regular checks and training staff on procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest queries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role or as a food and beverage staff member, with a proven track record of success.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills in written and spoken Dutch and/or English.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with HACCP and allergen protocols, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Teamwork: Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
