Maintenance Manager

About this role

Logoplaste is looking for a Maintenance Manager for our plant in Zoetermeer. In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of production lines and related equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Your task will be to oversee the engineering team and collaborate closely with the Plant Manager. The position requires excellent management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the engineering team
  • Collaborating with Shift Leaders and overseeing technical aspects, including:
  • Efficiency of the machines
  • Quality of bottles
  • Minimizing losses
  • Providing a safe working environment
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Training Machine Operators
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) daily
  • Recommending efficient solutions to quality, safety, and production problems
  • Forecasting budget and developing strategies for continuous improvement
  • Establishing and implementing maintenance standards
  • Managing preventive maintenance performance and equipment repairs
  • Maintaining and improving database systems
  • Coordinating the technical service warehouse inventory
  • Staff scheduling

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar)
  • Minimum years of experience in a similar role
  • Production environment knowledge
  • Hands-on approach and close involvement with the work floor

Technical skills

  • Technical knowledge (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical engineering)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Good command of both Dutch and English language in writing and speaking
