As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in product development by collaborating with internal teams to secure optimal sourcing solutions and cost structures from the early stages of new projects.
You will manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract oversight, and continuous performance evaluation to maintain strong partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive procurement improvements by identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing processes throughout product development and supply chain operations;
- Develop and implement effective category strategies that align with business goals and objectives;
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams;
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sourcing decisions;
- Lead a small team in your specific cosmetics category.
- 6-9 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, specifically within the cosmetics industry;
- A bachelor's degree in fields such as purchasing, business administration, or a related area;
- Proven ability to navigate and work effectively with diverse stakeholders across global regions, demonstrating strong cultural awareness;
- Leadership experience in managing a team focused on sourcing and procurement;
- A highly innovative, analytical, driven, and resilient mindset;
- Hands-on experience with New Product Development (NPD) processes.
A competitive salary range of approximately $85,000 per year, depending on experience and seniority.
