Job Title: Professor of International Teacher Education

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of International Teacher Education to join our team at Werkenbijhogescholen. As a Professor, you will play a key role in shaping the future of international teacher education and contributing to the development of our students and staff.

About the Role

The Professor of International Teacher Education will be responsible for leading and developing our international teacher education programs, including curriculum design, teaching, and research. You will work closely with our faculty and staff to ensure that our programs are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our students and the wider education community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead international teacher education programs, including curriculum design and teaching
  • Conduct research in international teacher education and contribute to the development of our faculty and staff
  • Collaborate with our faculty and staff to ensure that our programs are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our students and the wider education community
  • Develop and maintain relationships with international education partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of our faculty and staff through mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in international teacher education, including a doctoral degree and significant experience in teaching, research, and program development. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
