About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of International Teacher Education to join our team at Werkenbijhogescholen. As a Professor, you will be a leader and authority in the field of international teacher education, with a strong focus on global learning and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct innovative and complex research in international teacher education, with a focus on global learning and education.
  • Develop and implement research projects and programs that promote internationalization and global learning in education.
  • Lead a research team and manage research projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and impact.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop and implement education programs that promote internationalization and global learning.

Requirements
  • PhD in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in research and teaching in international teacher education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading research teams and managing research projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
