The Role

We are seeking a skilled Functional Application Specialist to support our engineering functionalities in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform: Teamcenter. As a key member of our team, you will drive efficiency and effectiveness across our engineering processes by providing good service and effective support to all project members working in or with Teamcenter.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate engineering business process needs into functional specifications for application developments.
  • Analyse issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
  • Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
  • Manage interfaces between applications and Teamcenter.
  • Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
  • Setup and configure project environments within Teamcenter.
  • Organize application-related training courses.
  • Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Teamcenter.
  • Prepare and develop Teamcenter training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with Teamcenter & TCRA applications.
  • Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations.
  • Skilled in working with Microsoft Excel and preferably good knowledge of VBA.

Benefits

  • A competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • 27 holidays and 13 ADV days.
  • Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
  • PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
  • Profit sharing based on company results.
  • Working from home policy and other benefits including a bicycle plan and company fitness.
