Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a temporary Senior Inventory Control Operator (ICO) within our Operations team:
In this role, you will oversee warehouse optimization efforts aimed at minimizing walking distances and reducing replenishment frequency. Your responsibilities will include logging, investigating, dispatching, and resolving service complaints. You will also coordinate, execute, and monitor daily inventory control tasks while addressing and reporting all stock-related discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and compute departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assess and interpret data necessary for the bin management process
- Provide insights related to operational activities
- Manage service complaints by logging, investigating, dispatching, and closing them in accordance with targets
- Engage actively in inventory control projects
- Prioritize daily tasks effectively
- Identify and implement workflow enhancements
- Investigate, reconcile, report, and analyze discrepancies in stock
- Reconcile and dispose of expired inventory
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies from sending plants
- Ensure product handling adheres to quality standards
- Maintain compliance with training and certification requirements
- Provide overall support as necessary
Qualifications:
- Educational background: MBO III level or equivalent professional experience
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in a warehouse setting
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to a zero-error mindset
- Flexible approach to work hours
- Attitude geared towards continuous improvement
- Alignment with Boston Scientific's Values & Principles
Working Hours: 06:00 – 14:30 & 14:30 – 23:00
