We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our Network Design & Innovation team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing network solutions that meet the bank's global IT designs and ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop network solutions that meet the bank's global IT designs and ambitions
- Collaborate with the P&T Design & Engineering department to ensure network designs meet overall ABN AMRO IT designs
- Develop High Level Designs (HLD) for the roadmap of the other Network Value Stream: End-User, On-Prem and Vortex
- Provide hand-over and guidance/knowledge to Network teams during implementation
- Provide solutions to complex consumer requests
- Advanced network knowledge on Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA, loadbalancing, Firewalls (Palo Alto), VMware NSX
- Design certificate: Cisco CCDP
- Affinity with automation and a drive for automation, knowledge on Python, YAML, Jason and Ansible Tower
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English and good command of the Dutch language
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent analytical skills (complex requests/designs)
- Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget
- Benefit Budget of 11% of your salary
- Five weeks of vacation per year, with option to purchase additional four weeks
- Personal development Budget of €1,000 per year, accumulable up to €3,000
- Option to work from home, depending on position and team
- Annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands
