At Booking.com, we're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement network architectures for our public cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python and Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure minimal downtime
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on public cloud networking
- Proven experience with AWS Network resources, including Transit Gateways, VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, VPNs, Direct Connects, etc.
- Experience with network automation using Python and Terraform
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including BGP, ISIS, IPv6, EVPN
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
