About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing Service Team at Marel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our advanced equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets/software/PLC) part of installation-jobs.
  • Conduct service visits and troubleshoot production issues at customers' sites.
  • Manage local employees in larger installation projects and keep in touch with customers about progress.
  • Train customers and provide feedback to colleagues.
  • Work in a team with experienced coworkers to develop your skills and knowledge.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and independent individual with a strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering, or a vocational level degree in the same area with several years of relevant experience.

  • Have experience with electrical cabinet (re)build, software installation/configuration, and/or troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server and SQL databases is an advantage.
  • Affinity with process engineering and/or food production is also a plus.
  • Have a good command of the English language and relevant EU travel and work documents.
