Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Seequent. As a key member of our geotechnical software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our geotechnical software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development of advanced geotechnical features and tools, and validate their performance through rigorous testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase and maintain test coverage of geotechnical features, and formulate and document benchmarks and case studies.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of product feature specifications, and contribute to internal and external activities for knowledge and expertise sharing.
  • Engage with a network of experts to collaborate on research and development projects, and co-author technical papers for conference proceedings or international journal publication.
  • Assist the Support team in responding to complex user queries, and perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Academic background in Geotechnical engineering or a related field, with a strong research interest in numerical modeling and a drive to apply it in engineering practice.
  • Practical experience using PLAXIS or other geotechnical modeling packages, and proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
