About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will work with clients to achieve sustainability, including deep decarbonization, climate resilience, and positive social impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients along their sustainability journey, working together with your team to answer pressing sustainability questions.
  • Contribute to complex projects and learn about project management by managing smaller projects and workstreams.
  • Work on diverse assignments connected to corporate sustainability and the energy transition in different ways.
Requirements
  • Combine a strong drive to deliver client results with analytical skills and a passion for and understanding of sustainability issues and/or decarbonization and climate change.
  • Relevant experience & training: Master's degree in engineering, energy, business, economics or similar, excellent academic results, experienced and skilled with Microsoft Office suite, working knowledge of data analytics and analysis software.
  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinker with a strong eye both for detail and for the bigger picture, able to show data collection and organizational skills.
  • Strong qualitative & team skills: strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, proven ability to summarize complex content and analysis into simple insights and implications for our clients, a team player who demonstrates the willingness and ability to work effectively in diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Language: must be able to work fluently in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Flexibility: willingness to travel internationally where required, able to work on multiple projects and show a good understanding of the project objectives and client expectations.
