Job Summary

The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • High level of integrity and strong leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
