Your Responsibilities
You will be integrated into the In-Person Payments (IPP) sector. In this area, we facilitate transaction processing for card-present environments. As English is the primary communication language, we seek a candidate with exceptional written and verbal English skills, based in our Amsterdam office.
As a Product Owner in the IPP sector, you will be expected to:
- Exhibit the following competencies:
- Possess knowledge of the IPP and/or online payment industry, including relevant regulations;
- Integrate customer insights, market trends, industry data, and business intelligence into product decisions;
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, each with unique skills and needs;
- Build relationships naturally;
- Lead initiatives across multiple teams;
2. Begin demonstrating these skills promptly:
- Quickly become the expert on IPP customers within the domain;
- Be organized and proficient in managing roadmaps and backlogs efficiently;
- Understand business strategies, objectives, and contexts swiftly;
- Make prompt decisions and gracefully decline requests when necessary within the context;
We Value Candidates Who:
- Have experience or a solid understanding of areas such as EMV, payment or cash register application development, payment APIs, and terminal hardware.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and Dutch is advantageous;
- Demonstrate the necessary skills to thrive as a Product Owner, as outlined above.
- This role is based in Amsterdam, and candidates must already possess the right to work in the Netherlands, as visa sponsorship is not available.
- Are located within a reasonable commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
