Job Summary

Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. is a leading provider of project support services to the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. We offer expertise in engineering, project management, maintenance, shutdowns, construction, and safety.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee the approval process of project scopes, ensuring compliance with Class, Statutory & Flag Regulations, and customer requirements.

• Develop and implement required deliverables, such as statutory plans, technical specifications, system descriptions, and verification and validation documents.

• Conduct engineering activities in 2D/3D, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Participate in the product and proposal phase, verifying technical data from vendors and subcontractors.

• Analyze received offers, ensuring technical compliance under the supervision of the Team Lead.

• Provide technical support during commissioning activities and develop yard standards.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum five years of experience in engineering, preferably in the maritime or offshore industry.

• In-depth knowledge of statutory plans, arrangements, and outfitting systems, gained through experience in ships or offshore installations.

• Familiarity with Class and Statutory regulations, including practical interpretation and implementation.

• Experience with Class, Flag, and client approval processes, including discussions with plan approval and local surveyors, and/or client representatives.

• Strong quality and budget awareness, with experience in collaborating with vendors and subcontractors.

• Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as Catia/Cadmatic, etc.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills, with Dutch language proficiency a plus.

• EU nationality.
