Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Casualty Underwriter to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing general ledger major and middle market business, in accordance with AIG's guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes, and tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage, analyze, and defend an existing portfolio of business
  • Build up a profitable book of new business
  • Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business
  • Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions
  • Participate in client/broker meetings
  • Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims
  • Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers
  • Give presentations, trainings, and take care of internal and external networking

Salary
