Position Overview

As a Key Account Manager, reporting directly to the VP Benelux, your role will be pivotal in enhancing our customer engagement and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of established clients
  • Gaining comprehensive insights into the specific needs and expectations of key customers to ensure the effective delivery of our value-added solutions
  • Expanding sales opportunities through the introduction of new products and services
  • Collaborating closely with the Customer Partner to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Creating and implementing a tailored statistical business plan, including KPIs and budgets for each customer
  • Facilitating regular strategic meetings with clients
  • Coordinating our commercial offerings by liaising with various internal teams: sales administration, marketing, installation, project management, etc.
  • Continuously nurturing and developing relationships with customers, from mid-management to C-level executives.
Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Professional Experience:

  • Proven success in a similar role (Key Account Manager or Area Manager)
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing account management and sales objectives
  • Experience and knowledge within relevant industry sectors are advantageous
  • Familiarity with the sales of technical solutions, preferably within the retail sector.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders from store level to C-suite
  • Ability to discern solution value for individual clients and translate this into increased sales
  • Strong personal motivation and proactive approach to work
  • Capacity to prioritize strategic tasks based on customer needs
