Job Summary
The Faculty of Science at Leiden University is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of supramolecular biomaterials. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research in the development of supramolecular materials that can mimic the structural and dynamic character of the extracellular matrix.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new supramolecular materials with mechanical properties that can be modified in space and time using external triggers
- Conduct research in stem cell (3D) culture and differentiation in advanced 3D in vitro models using developed materials
- Collaborate with the research group to achieve project goals
- Contribute to the development of new research ideas and proposals
Requirements
- PhD degree in chemistry or life sciences
- Experience in organic synthesis and/or (3D) cell culture
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Ability to work as a team player in a multidisciplinary environment
- Initiative, creativity, and an independent working attitude
What We Offer
- A position for 10 to 12 months
- A salary ranging from € 4,020,- to € 5,278,- gross per month (pay scale 10)
