Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Independent Recruiters. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our fast-growing hospitality facility provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and processing incoming purchase invoices;
  • Processing of the bank statements and assist in the preparation of payment proposals;
  • To be the point of contact for suppliers and customers regarding questions about invoices;
  • Sending, monitoring and administrative processing of sales invoices process;
  • Making proposals to improve the methods and procedures used with the aim of optimizing the service;
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices;
  • Supervise the financial administrative activities of the interns;
  • Assist in the month-end closing procedures;
  • Expense processing.
Requirements:
  • University Degree (HBO+), preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar;
  • 2+ years of relevant experience;
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel;
  • Proficiency working with various financial software and ERP systems;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch required.
What We Offer:

This role will have a monthly salary in the range of €3000 - €3500 gross per month, depending on knowledge level and experience. Additional benefits will be discussed in further detail throughout the interview process. This is a full-time position, and you must be currently based in the Netherlands without visa requirements.
