We are seeking a driven Masters student to join our Research and Development team and contribute to the development of our Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology.

About the Role

As a Research and Development Intern, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on improving our models representation of climatic conditions on the DAC process. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new models to optimize DAC capacity and efficiency regardless of weather conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing new models to simulate the effects of weather on the DAC process
  • Fitting existing models to large datasets to improve accuracy
  • Exploring different models to determine the best approach for optimizing DAC performance
  • Collaborating with the R&D team to integrate new models into our DAC testing platform

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical degree in a relevant field (mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, process/chemical engineering, computational engineering, etc.)
  • Experience with dynamic systems simulation, data fitting, and parameter estimation
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming languages
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
