Technical Support Specialist

At Intralox, we are looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a member of our Technical Support Group (TSG), you will be part of a multicultural team providing first-line, remote technical support to our French-speaking customers and internal departments. You will work in a broad range of industries, providing technical support and finding solutions to complex problems. This role is based in the Netherlands, with options for working in Hoofddorp or Wehl.


As a Technical Support Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:



  • Providing expert remote technical support and troubleshooting for our French-speaking customers.
  • Making industry-specific product recommendations to meet unique customer needs.
  • Conducting technical evaluations of conveyor systems and suggesting improvements.
  • Delivering engaging technical presentations via remote technologies.
  • Offering technical training to colleagues and customers.
  • Researching and compiling technical data to support customer inquiries.
  • Creating detailed Bill of Materials for various projects.
  • Participating in the development and maintenance of tools and technical documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • To be a (near) native French speaker with fluent English skills, with other languages being a plus.
  • To have a technical degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) from a college or university.
  • To have experience in industrial sales/support or equipment specification, which is highly desirable.
  • To have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to articulate complex concepts.
  • To have excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
  • To have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To be proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • To have skills in both 2D and 3D CAD software, which is a plus.
  • To have experience using a CRM software, which is a plus.
  • To be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • To have a service-minded, team-player attitude with a sense of ownership and self-management.
