Job Title: Digital Turnaround Hardware Support

Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Digital Turnaround Hardware Support Team as a Senior Digital Hardware Support Specialist.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital tools and hardware, ensuring seamless operation during all phases of Turnaround.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and maintain key tools like W&AV, Wrench Time Analysis, eSWP, and PTT Phones, providing Level 1 support and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with local teams during FEL to implement digital tools, plan resources, schedules, and ensure proper equipment availability.
  • Oversee hardware such as mobile kiosks, wireless access points, BLE devices, RFID, and solar arrays, ensuring all equipment is operational and maintained.
  • Guide less experienced team members, providing technical expertise, while managing tool storage, inventory, and quality control.
  • Lead documentation of work processes and troubleshooting, driving improvements for smoother operations.
  • Manage the preparation of digital kits (devices, kiosks, wireless infrastructure) for Turnaround projects.
  • Travel extensively to sites in Spain, Germany, Netherlands, and the USA to provide on-site support and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide ongoing training on digital tools to ensure the team maximizes the technology's impact during Turnaround.
Requirements:
  • MBO level 4 or higher in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), or a related technical field.
  • A solid understanding of IT systems, with a focus on Level 1 support for digital tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting a range of hardware and digital systems.
  • Previous experience in engineering or maintenance with a focus on IT support for field operations.
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • A practical, hands-on approach is critical for managing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital tools and hardware during Turnaround projects.
