We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing electrical systems and solutions, including their validation, testing, and troubleshooting, for Interventional Guided Therapy systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform EMC (pre-)compliance tests in collaboration with our internal accredited EMC lab.
- Set up test strategies and plans to comply with EMC international standards in alignment with our Norm Compliance department.
- Consult and support electrical, mechanical, and software designers in EMC design.
- Direct and support suppliers regarding EMC compliance.
- Co-create, maintain, and implement EMC architecture and compliance.
- Maintain and improve EMC facilities and equipment.
- Successfully cooperate with your team and stakeholders.
- Plan, deliver results, and document processes.
- Coach and supervise electrical designers, partners, and suppliers in setting up requirements and designing their parts, coordinating their integration into our systems.
- Lead architectural choices and roadmaps, communicating scenarios and consequences leading to decisions.
- Be end-to-end responsible for requirements until verification and release, including defining requirements of non-R&D functions such as marketing, manufacturing, service, procurement, compliance, and regulatory.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a professional engineering environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in EMC development and/or measurement, preferably with IEC.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EMC equipment, labs, facilitation, and requirement definition.
- Experience in new product introduction or life-cycle development in the industry.
