Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a skilled credit risk manager to strengthen our second-line risk management team. As a credit risk manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring credit risks in our loan portfolio at a financial institution. Your experience in analyzing and monitoring credit risks will be essential in maintaining and improving our credit risk models (PD, LGD, and EAD) to determine the expected credit losses of our loan portfolios.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a quantitative basis and an understanding of the importance of continuing to develop support systems like our data platform. You will be responsible for developing and calculating stress test scenarios for internal and external reporting, as well as maintaining our credit risk dashboard and monitoring credit risk limits.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the risks of, and stress-test our residential mortgage and SME loan portfolios
- Contribute to the ICLAAP
- Produce the credit risk dashboard and monitor limits and risk appetite
- Model and calculate the expected credit losses of our loan portfolios
- Review investment proposals and performance of existing portfolios and TPOs
- Monitor and implement new laws and (supervisory) regulations
Requirements
- Higher education with a quantitative affinity
- Sound knowledge of credit risk analysis for residential mortgages or SME loans
- About 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial sector
- Analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
