Introduction

As a Product Owner at ASML, you will work in a dynamic and creative environment where collaboration is key. You will have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems. Our team is passionate about innovation and is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading 3-5 Scrum teams in a cluster with similar technical competencies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the backlog of your team for the new Program Increments
  • Ensuring that backlog items have acceptance criteria
  • Collaborating with Scrum Masters and Chief Product Owner to align on priorities and objectives
  • Working closely with stakeholders and customers to align on the work that brings most value
  • Slicing the work into smaller valuable pieces in close collaboration with the team
  • Preparing the team backlog for the upcoming iteration and ensuring it is properly prioritized
  • Ensuring that backlog items have requirements, acceptance criteria, and that the team understands them
  • Ensuring focus of the team on PI deliverables and keeping the team from getting distracted
  • Challenging the team in view of the Agile key performance indicators towards greater efficiency
  • Setting up and developing our structures and meetings on managing content
  • Creating and maintaining a long-term plan for the integrated team deliverables
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BS or MSc in system engineering, industrial engineering, physics, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of work experience, with at least 3-4 years in a Product Owner role in a scaled Agile environment
  • Prior experience with hardware deliverables is preferred
  • Ability to apply Agile and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) principles for the business context
