Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated Global eCommerce Business Support Intern to join our international headquarters in Utrecht. In this role, you will gain insider knowledge of the commercial dynamics in an eCommerce environment within global markets. You will also learn valuable skills in how to communicate clearly and effectively in a complex matrix organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop global eCommerce activities and online experience for JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, working closely with local markets across the globe and other global departments.
  • Support Amazon-related topics, such as Global Amazon Webinar and Amazon marketplace setup to secure the annual target.
  • Participate in various analytical projects with local markets and global teams to assist the CoE (Center of Excellence) team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Supply-chain, IT, and Finance to ensure tasks are complete and projects rolled out on time.
  • Support requests to create content in line with our CASA (Content, Assortment, Search, Activation) principles and digital shelf execution guidelines.

Requirements

  • Academic Program: You are enrolled in a MSc (preferred) or BSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in International Business Management or a field related to eCommerce.
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit.
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship, preferably from the 2nd of September to February.
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results.
  • Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
  • You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
