Treasury/Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Handle daily requests from Transaction Managers to provide international payment confirmations by extracting SWIFT reports from banking systems.
- Timely and proactive response to specific payment requests (not received or rejected payments) by resolving any issues together with our banks.
- Collect and process invoices and other payment requests by daily updates of payment registers across several legal entities.
- Perform validations of invoices by getting confirmations from owners of the invoice or expense claims.
- Assist in preparation of payments instructions in banking systems.
- Support with bank balances reconciliation.
- Other ad-hoc requests related to payments.
- Assist with operational cash bi-weekly updates including monthly forecast.
- Manage daily Treasury functions including producing daily liquidity reports.
- Manage relationships with banking partners.
- Assist in month-end/ad-hoc treasury reporting.
- Assist on completing ad-hoc KYC requests.
- Assist with automation relating to payment capturing and financial administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Trustworthy individual with experience in working with different banking or payments systems.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of SWIFT payments and systems.
- Proactive, accurate, attentive to details, and well-organized.
- Strong communicator in liaison with internal and external stakeholders, such as banks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and deliver on time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus.
