We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global FP&A Intern to join our team at JDE Peet's. As a key member of our Finance team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, working closely with our Global FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Global FP&A team to understand JDE FP&A fundamentals and financial reporting
  • Work closely with Global FP&A analysts on CAPEX projects to improve the process of collecting, validating, and facilitating monthly approval flows for Capital Expenditure Requests
  • Acquire new skills and practical experience by getting familiar with using PowerBI
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate this into insights by creating Power BI dashboards
  • Automate 'standards' reports in Power BI to facilitate data availability for finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Live the JDE values of 'Entrepreneurship' and 'Simplicity' by coming up with new analysis angles and drill-down possibilities while working together with members of the team
What We Offer:

Requirements:
  • Academic program: You are enrolled in a BSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship, preferably from the 2nd of September to February
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence
