Senior Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Assistant to join our team at the Department of Anaesthesiology, School of Clinical Medicine.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects, handle and prepare quantitative data for statistical modelling, support data management and analysis, and prepare materials for presentations, proposals, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects
- Handle and prepare quantitative data for statistical modelling
- Support data management and analysis
- Prepare materials for presentations, proposals, and reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
The appointee should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in healthcare-related disciplines, including but not limited to population health, epidemiology, biostatistics, social sciences, or a related field. Knowledge in chronic pain, drug use, and healthy behaviors is preferred. The successful candidate should have experience in quantitative analysis and statistical modelling, as well as experience in managing large population-based datasets and conducting statistical modellings and regressions using R, SAS, STATA, or other statistical tools.
What We Offer:A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Appointment on 2-year fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
