Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

As a Senior Quality Engineer at NKT Cables-china, you will play a crucial role in ensuring process and product quality for our Business Lines. We are expanding our Group Quality team and seeking a quality professional with a passion for ensuring quality and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure, optimize, and improve our processes and product quality standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from our various Business Lines to define and lead improvement projects.
  • Identify and perform root-cause analyses, implement improvements, and monitor ongoing performance (KPIs) to secure high-quality output.
  • Supply hands-on support, be present on the shop-floor, serve as a point of contact, and provide expert advice and best-practice sharing between Business Lines.
Requirements:
  • BSc. in Engineering or equivalent education.
  • 6+ years of experience within Quality or Process Engineering in a manufacturing industry.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma and ISO (internal) auditor.
  • Experience in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Experience in SPC-Minitab, statistical in general, and project management is a plus.
  • Experience providing Root Cause Analyses and using tools as Ishikawa, 5-Why, 8D or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Dutch and/or German proficiency is a plus.
