About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safety Assurance Engineer to join our team at DEME Group. As a key member of our QHSE department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our projects and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the project and tender departments in developing and implementing safety and quality management systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with employees from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to promote a culture of safety and quality.
  • Develop and maintain QHSE campaigns and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and awareness.
  • Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in safety science, energy management, or environmental engineering.
  • Experience in QHSE and/or safety management systems is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Will to work abroad or in our HQ in Belgium.
