About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead for our HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current) Engineering team. As a key member of our Petrofac/Hitachi portfolio team, you will oversee technical processes, ensure smooth project operations, and contribute to strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and represent the Project Lead HVDC in operational tasks and take on responsibilities in their absence.
  • Coordinate and optimize all technical processes, including queries, documentation, and contractor coordination.
  • Monitor risks, schedules, and technical challenges, and take action where necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance engineering workflows.
  • Evaluate the technical substantiation required for releasing payment milestones and completing project phases.
  • Participate in project preparation workshops, contribute to technical reviews, and collaborate with discipline leads and experts.
What We're Looking For

You should have experience in project management and engineering, with a talent for motivating teams and improving processes. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in HVDC projects or technical project management for complex projects are essential. Strong communication skills, natural leadership abilities, and a passion for driving projects forward are also crucial.
