About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the pastry section of the kitchen to deliver an excellent Guest experience.
- Plan production and develop seasonal offerings to meet daily requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation.
- Manage food cost controls to contribute to F&B revenue.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous Pastry Chef experience for about a minimum of 3-5 years.
- Approaches pastry in a creative and high luxury way.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- Dedicated to the delivery of exceptional service and continuous improvement of the pastry.
