Job Title: Freelance Cost Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Cost Accounting Manager to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and leadership to our finance and operations leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all planning, reporting, and analysis of budget, forecast, and spending variances.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs, fixed assets, and reserves.
  • Ensure accurate manufacturing performance reporting and safeguard company assets.
  • Drive continuous financial improvement through labor analysis, gross profit analysis, and spending analysis.
  • Ensure financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and BD financial policies.
  • Ensure financial controls are maintained and the requirements of the Sarbanes/Oxley Act are met.
  • Assist internal and external auditors with their periodic review of financial records.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of relevant professional accounting and/or finance experience.
  • Product costing, manufacturing variances, and inventory control experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience, preferably SAP.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • A CPA, MBA, or CMA is preferred.
