Job Title: Senior Project Manager Lightning Protection

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at DNV in Arnhem, the Netherlands. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing research cases within our Lightning Protection Safety research program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute research cases within the Lightning Protection Safety research program
  • Design and execute safe and valid measurements and tests needed for the determination of electromagnetic fields
  • Contribute to clear and high-quality customer interactions, presentations, and reports
  • Lead DNV colleagues and work together with contractors and partners
  • Build and maintain a network within the Defence and Security sector
Requirements:
  • Electrotechnical or Physics background (MSc, PhD) and level of thinking
  • Experience in the fields of lightning protection, electromagnetic fields, earthing, shielding, and EMC
  • High level of abstract/conceptual thinking, likes a challenge, likes stepping into unchartered territories
  • Experience in leading and guiding people in on-site measurements
  • Ability to handle complex (technical) problems and be able to deal with multiple parties with conflicting interests
  • Relevant experience in successfully organizing and executing advisory projects
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relations with operational and mid/higher management
  • Affinity with Defence and Security sector
