Business Intelligence and Data Engineering Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Data Engineering Lead to join our Platform Enablement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering adoption of Microsoft Power BI capability in Goldman Sachs Asset and Wealth Management. You will use your Power BI knowledge to enable the migration of GSAM BV Power BI resources to Goldman Sachs' Power BI platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement migration patterns for Power BI resources
  • Provide hands-on assistance to application development teams
  • Collaborate with global and local engineers to ensure successful implementation
  • Guide senior stakeholders in risk assessment, technical problem solving, and decision making

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Real-world experience in deploying Business Intelligence (BI) projects, data warehousing, and ETL
  • Experience in creating reports, dashboards, datasets, and working with large varieties of data sources in Power BI
  • Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (AWS/Snowflake) is a must
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Testing
  • Security & compliance awareness – experience in operating in a highly controlled regulatory environment
  • Proven strong communication and interpersonal ability, with an ability to present complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical senior audiences
