About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Data Engineering Lead to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our Platform Enablement team, you will be responsible for fostering adoption of Microsoft Power BI capability in our Asset and Wealth Management division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement migration patterns for GSAM BV Power BI resources to Goldman Sachs' Power BI platform.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to application development teams to onboard their Cloud and Power BI resources onto the Goldman Sachs ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with global and local Goldman Sachs engineers to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Power BI.
  • Guide senior stakeholders in risk assessment, technical problem solving, and decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Real-world experience in deploying Business Intelligence (BI) projects, data warehousing, and ETL.
  • Experience in creating reports, dashboards, datasets, and working with large varieties of data sources in Power BI.
  • Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (AWS/Snowflake) is a must.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Testing.
  • Security & compliance awareness – experience in operating in a highly controlled regulatory environment.
  • Proven strong communication and interpersonal ability, with an ability to present complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical senior audiences.
