About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Operations Manager to join our team at felyx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our fleet management operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of our mopeds throughout the service area.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Oversee the daily activities of the team and assign tasks based on operational requirements
- Manage staff schedules and ensure timely hour registration for payrolling purposes
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members, as well as resolve conflicts and monitor performance
- Workshop Operations
- Ensure workplace safety and maintain equipment and tools to the highest standards
- Prioritize workload and allocate resources to meet company needs
- Manage maintenance and repairs to ensure the quality of mopeds leaving the workshop
- Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and other materials
- Fleet and Asset Management
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance schedules for the moped fleet
- Manage the distribution of mopeds throughout the service area based on supply and demand
- Oversee the flow of transport between the service area and the workshop
- Track, monitor, and maintain assets such as equipment, tools, batteries, and service vans
- Manage budgets and report on key performance indicators
- Develop and maintain relationships with local governments and external partners
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing a workshop or fleet operations, preferably in the two-wheeler industry
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Dutch (native language)
- Availability to work full-time
