Background Information

On the scope of development of the newest system by ASML, the Machine Conditioning group is involved in the development of state-of-the-art control models using modern control theory approaches. This requires new and modern validation approaches. Brand new test/validation/simulation environments are being created to meet expectations.

Your Assignment

Establish the simulation/emulation environment for supporting the software development from Machine Conditioning for the High NA system from ASML.

Activities will include:

  • Create and extend programs/tasks from communication over TCP/IP between entities (Controllers and speedgoat).
  • Extending the existing BDD (behavior-driven development) test written in robot framework, creating bindings to underlying components.
  • Create/modify test pipelines to introduce new test jobs (nightly builds, etc).

  • Jenkins/GitHub Actions
  • Speedgoat
  • Robot framework

Your Profile

To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a Master student in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Have great programming skills (Python, C++).
  • Experience with object-oriented programming is a plus.
  • Have great communication skills and are a great collaborator.
  • Have a hands-on approach with a "make it work" mindset.

This is a Master internship with a duration of a minimum of 6 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting date is flexible.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of the internship.
