Job Title: Lead Engineer Piping

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer Piping to join our team at Oceanco. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of piping systems for our luxury yachts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems with other yacht systems.
  • Develop and implement piping design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure piping systems are installed and functioning correctly.

Requirements:

  • Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience in the piping discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the maritime industry and/or yacht building industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
