The Above Water Warfare Fire Control System (AWW-FCS) is designed to safeguard naval vessels and other assets from above-water threats that are evolving in speed, intelligence, and complexity. AWW-FCS employs Thales' state-of-the-art dual-band radar system, integrating an Active Phased-Array Radar (APAR) in the X-band with a Sea Master 400 radar in the S-band.
With anti-ship missiles traveling at speeds three to five times that of sound and exhibiting increasingly sophisticated behaviors, it is becoming more challenging for human operators to implement effective defense strategies. The AWW-FCS equips operators with critical information to make informed decisions in mere seconds.
Utilizing a new generation of sensors alongside an intelligent Fire Control System, AWW-FCS continuously evaluates the most effective methods to engage detected threats. This system merges radar capabilities with advanced algorithms to assist ranged weapon systems in targeting, tracking, and successfully hitting their intended targets.
To support our development initiatives, we are seeking a
SCRUM MASTER (Fire Control Systems)
to join our multidisciplinary and self-organizing Agile/Scrum teams. These teams are not only responsible for software product development but also for various critical aspects, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, testing, validation, and product demonstrations. Employing cutting-edge techniques and software development methodologies is essential. The software for the Fire Control System is developed using both Java and C++ within a modern development environment.
As a Scrum Master, you will adeptly apply Agile principles and the Scrum framework. You will serve as a mentor and coach, both challenging and supporting the team to maximize their output. Your role will involve being a proactive facilitator, capable of adapting to changing circumstances. The Scrum Master is essential in ensuring our teams operate smoothly and effectively.
