Senior Polymer Technology Specialist

At Corbion, we are committed to preserving the world's resources for future generations. As a Principal Scientist - Polymer Technology, you will play a key role in driving innovation and sustainability in our Polymer Technology group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and transfer new bioresorbable and implantable polymer products and technologies from bench scale to production.
- Provide technical support to our production facilities in the Netherlands and United States, as well as to our business teams.
- Lead a team of polymer experts, composed of members with different levels of expertise, and address their needs for development, engagement, and support.
- At least 10 years of industrial work experience in polyester-based polymer technology, with knowledge of materials and (processing) technologies used in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in product and process development, preferably in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of IP-related topics and driving IP strategy for product and processes developed.
