We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender Manager to join our team at Boskalis. As a Tender Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire tender process, from developing a win-strategy to negotiating the contract with the client.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the tender, including costs, schedule, and risk analysis, is drawn up in accordance with client and Boskalis requirements.
- Determining the tender strategy in consultation with the commercial team and business unit management, executing the strategy in the tender deliverables, and monitoring tender progress and performance.
- Coordinating with other disciplines, such as legal, SHEQ, finance, and planning, to ensure all technical and cost aspects are addressed and risks are mitigated.
- Taking the lead in the contractual and legal assessment of tender requirements, including contract review, local compliance, and financial impact.
- Managing and guiding the tender team to perform to the best of their abilities.
- Participating in negotiations with the client about price and contractual conditions, and coordinating and maintaining contact with all internal and external parties involved.
As a Tender Manager at Boskalis, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, and to develop your skills and expertise in the offshore energy industry.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as marine or offshore engineering.
- Preferably 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the offshore industry, with a proven track record in tender management or project management.
- Both technical and commercial skills and knowledge with regards to the marine or offshore industry.
- Experience with risk and contract management.
- A result-driven personality with a positive and international mindset.
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
